| Entrepeneurship is very important in the African American community
because it will lead to more black-owned businesses in the communities.
There are so many communities where businesses have been started
by outsiders of other races who are providing the services that the
communities need and then taking the money being made outside of the
community. If more African Americans in the communities owned the
businesses that were providing the services needed, then that money
made could be used to develop the communities and provide more opportunities
for those living there. I am suited to become a successful business
entrepreneur because I want to better the African American community
and I have drive and determination to succeed. I am from a rural community
where there are very few opportunities for African Americans. I plan
to make a better future for the young African Americans in my home community
after I graduate by going back and helping to bring businesses that
will provide revenue to provide more opportunities for those there.
